DomainWorld respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect when you register, transfer, manage, or park a domain with us, and what we do with that information. We collect only what we need to operate the registrar and the marketplace, and we do not sell your data.

1. Who We Are

The entity behind DomainWorld.

"DomainWorld," "we," "us," and "our" refer to MTI Technology LLC, operating the websites domainworld.com, domainworld.ai, and domains.domainworld.com. Contact: domainworld42@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

What we ask for and why.
2.1 Account information

When you create a DomainWorld account we collect your email address, a password (stored as a hash, never plaintext), your name as it appears on your domain registrations, and a postal address. This information is required to operate as an ICANN-accredited registrar's reseller and to associate domains with their owner.

2.2 Phone number (optional)

You may provide a mobile phone number if you choose to enable two-factor authentication, opt in to renewal reminders by SMS, or opt in to other transactional notifications. Your phone number is used solely for those purposes. We do not share phone numbers with third parties for marketing.

2.3 Domain registration data

The domain registry for each top-level domain (.com, .net, .ai, etc.) requires the registrant's name, organization, address, email, and phone number. We collect this so we can register your domain on your behalf. You may provide separate registrant, administrative, technical, and billing contacts.

2.4 Payment information

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe collects and stores your full payment card information directly; DomainWorld receives only a tokenized reference and last-four digits for display. We never see or store your full card number.

2.5 Usage data

We log standard server information when you use the site: IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the actions you take on your account. This is used to operate the site, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

What we do with what we collect.

4. SMS Notifications

What you agree to when you provide your phone number.

If you provide a mobile phone number and opt in, we may send you transactional SMS messages from a U.S. phone number for purposes you have specifically opted into:

Frequency: message frequency varies based on your account activity and the notifications you opt into. Message and data rates may apply per your carrier.

Opt out: reply STOP to any of our SMS messages and we will not send you further SMS. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact domainworld42@gmail.com.

No marketing: we do not send promotional or marketing SMS, and we do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing.

5. Information We Share

Who we send your data to and why.

We share your information only with the parties needed to operate the service:

We do not sell your personal information.

6. WHOIS and Public Information

What about my domain showing up in WHOIS?

ICANN requires that registrant contact information be made available through the WHOIS protocol for most generic top-level domains. For most TLDs we offer free WHOIS privacy (sometimes called ID Protection), which substitutes proxy contact information for yours in public WHOIS records. The underlying registrant contact data is still held by the registry and provided to law enforcement on valid request.

7. Data Retention

How long we keep your information.

We retain account and domain registration data for as long as your account is active and for as long as required by ICANN, the relevant registry, and applicable law. Closed accounts and their associated transaction history are retained for at least three years for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. Phone numbers used solely for opt-in SMS are removed within 90 days of opt-out.

8. Your Rights

What you can ask us to do.

You can:

Send privacy requests to domainworld42@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children

DomainWorld is not for kids.

DomainWorld is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Security

How we protect your information.

We use industry-standard practices: TLS encryption for all web traffic, password hashing, restricted-access databases on a private network, and segregation of payment card data to Stripe. We strongly recommend you enable two-factor authentication when it is available on your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to make ours difficult to attack.

11. International Users

Where your data lives.

DomainWorld operates from the United States. If you are outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using the service you consent to that transfer.

12. Changes to This Policy

When we update it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when. Material changes will be communicated by email to your account address before they take effect.

13. Contact
